Alan's speech was terrific, his mingling with the crowd after the event continued until dark and was very special. I found the standard speaker online newspaper story (link below) to be mostly accurate with the misleading impression that 150 "local people" were in attendance. Two others in attendance with me put the total number at, near or above 300. Too bad the biased and area's largest "NEWS" TV station did not appear even though they were contacted beforehand. Also an area EWTN affiliate was notified but we are not aware they attended.

Never hold your breath waiting for EWTN to include Alan Keyes in one of their programs, TV or Radio. I watched a show one time that nearly had me in tears because they glorified every Presidential Candidate on the Conservative roster--yet Alan didn't exist. Pro-Life, Conservative, Catholic EWTN. (Actually, a lot of us have theorized that Mother Angelica has never been aware of Alan's exclusion.)
