As congressmen enter the Capitol via car to debate passage of Pelosi/Reid/Obama Healthcare Reform legislation today, they will be met by demonstrators opposing passage of the incomprehensible bill which, if passed, may lead to socialization of the nation's healthcare system. Other reports indicate final bill language with respect to abortion funding will not be released until the final hours -- just before the vote.
Pro-LIFE protestors have demonstrated the Capitol this week, culminating in a "Sit-In" at Nancy Pelosi's Washington, D.C. office in which multiple pro-LIFERS were arrested. The sit-in occurred immediately following the Washington Meet-Up, on Thursday. The meet-up attracted an estimated 20,000 to 45,000 protestors intent on sending a message to Congress: Kill the Bill. The message of Pro-LIFE demonstrators: We Won't Pay for Murder.

Thanks be to God, Father Norman Weslin is out of jail, as are all of the pro-lifers who got arrested yesterday at Nancy Pelosi's office.

Special thanks to those of you who helped. Five of them have this completely behind them, with a "post and forfeit" arrangement with the prosecutor. Seven of them have future court dates.

By 6:45, all of them were out, and back at "command center." Father Weslin - the 79 year old (not 77, as I said earlier!) priest is right now asleep in a real bed.

I just learned that all five of those who spent the night in jail had no blankets or pillows, and slept on a steel slab. It was a little rough, but they all agree it was worth it to draw further attention to this damnable health care bill, and to cause a peaceful raucous at Nancy Pelosi's office.

In the Streets Early Tomorrow...
Pleading with Congressmen.

It is very possible that there will be a vote tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
In that light, our team will be at the car entrance locations for the House Members, holding signs, and preaching to them through bullhorns. They will see hard working Americans holding signs, saying: "Kill the Bill!" and "Murder!" and holding signs of dead babies. This may be a final reminder to them of the evil this bill represents.
